appearances" starring Ms. Patricia Routledge as Hyacinth Bouquet
 (spelled Bucket?)

Its a satirical look at the obsession with maintaining looks or
appearances in aspects related to British culture as practiced
by those being satirized by the series creators/writers over what
really may matter instead in matters concerning human relations
one should argue.
